Dialed In: Helping Veterans Take Control of Their Health Care
What's An Advance Directive, and Why Should I Complete One? (6:35)
As a VA patient, you have the right to make your own decisions about your health care. But what if you’re too ill to decide? Who would you want to make those decisions for you? Fortunately, VA has a form you can fill out that covers that situation: an advance directive. This podcast discusses why it's a good idea to fill out an advance directive, and what you might want to think about - and who to talk with - before you do.
